 Job Opening: Marketing Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and capable Marketing Project Manager to lead Signature Products Group with trade shows, retail marketing, communications, project management and other marketing efforts. This role works closely with our entire organization, our brand partners, and our retail partners to identify key marketing initiatives and execute projects that will move the needle, all while sweating the details, hitting deadlines, and supporting co-workers. We need someone who thrives in an agile environment and can utilize experience and efficient processes to deliver excellent results. The key to success in this position is being a self-starter who is able to keep track of multiple projects at once. You’ll work closely with the Vice President, Brands and be the point person for executing all retail marketing, trade shows, and managing major marketing projects.

  • Essential Functions

    • Manage, plan, and execute successful trade shows and events, including timelines, logistics, booth management, collateral production, set up, run of show, maintain inventory list of materials, and adherence to budget goals

    • Review and select outside vendors to create exhibits or contribute to events

    • Project manage retail marketing which includes display/fixture development, seasonal POP, and at-once custom projects that deliver on the brand promise of our license partners

    • Be resourceful on locating and utilizing outside suppliers

    • Coordinate marketing efforts

    • Be a liaison between SPG and our Brand Partners; coordinate development and approval of marketing collateral with our Brand Partners

    • Align all efforts with licensor programs

    • Align marketing calendars and efforts with Product Development and Sales

    • Coordinate project requests with the Creative Group and Sales Group

    • Coordinate catalog development and timelines; print production, photoshoots, and catalog review

    • Manage and evolve the ambassador program

    • Work with outside editors and writers on limited PR opportunities

    • Adhere to and navigate within budget goals on all projects

  • Desired Qualifications:

    • 4 Year college degree preferred

    • Minimum 2 to 3 year experience in similar role

    • Proficient in project management software

    • Microsoft Office

    • Strong negotiation skills

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects, tight deadlines and changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative

    • Collaborative problem solving skills and ability to take critique

    • Able to enthusiastically meet deadlines in an agile environment

    • Must be able to lift 20lbs

    • Full legal right to work in the U.S. on a permanent, unrestricted basis
